All products include a physical deliverable such as a geologic map and/or a report and attendant figures. All final map and/or figure drafting is done by Western Geoinformatics (https://www.westerngeoinformatics.com/).
Groundwater Resource Management Projects for Agriculture
ZGC is currently working with the Northeastern Soil and Water Conservation District (Clayton, NM) to develop a better understanding of groundwater resources in the region. We are in our eighth year of mapping and subsurface analysis and look forward to continuing to share our data with the producers of Union County. Look under the "Union County Hydrogeology Project" tab to see our annual reports. We also have sister projects ongoing in the Mora-Wagon Mound SWCD, Colfax SWCD, Ute Creek SWCD, Mesa SWCD, Branson-Trinchera CD and Spanish Peaks-Purgatoire CD, as well as at a number of individual farms and ranches across northeastern New Mexico. We will work with your range and/or crop management plans to produce a groundwater resource management plan that helps conserve this precious resource for farm and rangeland health.
